NFL FLAG is the official non-contact youth football program of the NFL, designed to give kids a fun, safe, and inclusive way to learn the game. The program is open to boys and girls ages 4–14 (Pre-K through 8th grade) and welcomes athletes of all experience levels—from first-time players to seasoned competitors. Our leagues emphasize equal playing time, positive coaching, and sportsmanship, helping kids build confidence both on and off the field.NFL FLAG also fits busy family schedules, with teams typically meeting once per week for practices and games. Families love the balance of structure, fun, and flexibility, while kids love the fast-paced gameplay and team atmosphere.
Grant & Financial Assistance Opportunities
At NFL FLAG, we believe every child deserves the chance to play. Through the RCX Sports Foundation, families may be eligible for financial assistance and grant support to help offset registration costs.
Grant funding is available to qualifying families and is reviewed based on need and availability. These grants are designed to remove financial barriers and ensure that cost is not the reason a child misses out on participating in youth sports.
In addition, NFL FLAG supports initiatives like Females in Flag (FIF), which focuses on expanding access and opportunities for girls through dedicated programming and resources.
Families interested in financial assistance are encouraged to apply early, as funding is limited and awarded on a rolling basis.
Our Commitment to Families
NFL FLAG and the RCX Sports Foundation are committed to creating a positive, accessible youth sports experience for every family. From quality programming and trained coaches to financial support and community partnerships, our goal is to make sure kids can play, grow, and belong—no matter their background.
