The Spring 2024 Season will be here before you know it! We are excited to have you join us and appreciate your support.
Communication is key to ensuring the success of the league. Over the course of this season, we will be sending you emails with the information you will need this season. Due to this being a mass email system, please check your filters to ensure that messages do not get lost in your junk mail folder. Included are answers to some common questions you may have. Spring registration opens December 1st, 2023 until March 3rd, 2024. After the registration deadline, late registration is based upon availability and is not guaranteed. Once registration is full, we will build a waitlist and fill openings from the waitlist on a first-come, first-serve basis. A $10.00 increase in registration will apply and you will be placed on any team that has openings in your grade division. Buddy and Coach requests are less likely to be met during late registration. |

IMPORTANT DATES FOR THE SPRING 2024 SEASON:
DECEMBER 1ST, 2023: Spring season registration begins.
DECEMBER 1ST UNTIL 1 WEEK PRIOR TO START OF SEASON: We will be forming teams, confirming coaches, creating schedules, and more during this time.
FEBRUARY 25TH, 2024 (EMERSON LOCATION) & MARCH 3RD, 2024 (ALL OTHER LOCATIONS): Early registration closes for all league locations. Today is the last day for a guaranteed spot on a team.
FEBRUARY 26TH, 2024 (EMERSON LOCATION) & MARCH 4TH, 2024 (ALL OTHER LOCATIONS): Late registration begins. Limited space, based upon availability per age division. Late fees will apply.
2 WEEKS PRIOR TO START OF SEASON: All rosters and schedules will be posted.
MARCH 18TH @ 7 PM EST - MANDATORY COACHES TRAINING: Virtual meeting for all volunteer coaches and team managers for all Georgia league locations. After registration closes, volunteers will be assigned to a team once their background check is cleared. Each volunteer assigned will receive a team shirt and a game ball. A separate email will be sent out to RSVP for the meeting with the Zoom link included.
WEEK OF MARCH 11TH (EMERSON LOCATION) & APRIL 1ST (ALL OTHER LOCATIONS): Player's jersey, flags/flag belt, and optional merchandise purchased during registration will begin arriving at Ship-To address provided with registration.
MARCH 22ND, 2024 (EMERSON LOCATION) & APRIL 7TH, 2024 (ALL OTHER LOCATIONS): Meet & Greet Day - Game Times and locations are posted 1 week prior to the start of the season on the website under Game Day - Game Schedules. Teams will meet the coaches for 30 minutes off the field then participate in their first 1-hour practice on the field. Bring your mouth guard, jersey, and flag belt/flags! Please double-check your player's roster in the MOJO app.
MARCH 29TH, 2024 (EMERSON LOCATION) & APRIL 14TH, 2024 (ALL OTHER LOCATIONS): 1st week of games. Practice is held 1-hour PRIOR to the game time listed on the schedule each week. Please check your Game Schedule under the GAME DAY tab on the website and confirm it with your schedule in the MOJO app.
APRIL 5TH, 2024 & MAY 17TH, 2024 (EMERSON LOCATION ONLY), MAY 26TH, 2024 MEMORIAL DAY (ALL OTHER LOCATIONS): No games will be played on these League Blackout Dates
MAY 10TH, 2024 (EMERSON LOCATION) & MAY 19TH, 2024 (ALL OTHER LOCATIONS): The last week of the season will be our Madden Playoffs. ALL teams will have at least one game scheduled today. Exact schedules for this date will be posted after the STANDINGS are finalized. Madden teams may play an additional game for the championship game after the playoffs. Please note that Lombardi and Shula games may be adjusted to accommodate the playoffs schedule.
MAY 24TH, 2024 (EMERSON LOCATION) & JUNE 2ND, 2024 (ALL OTHER LOCATIONS)*: League make-up date in case of inclement weather or facility issues during the season will be determined by National Flag Football Management.
Please note, GAMES WILL BE HELD ON SUNDAY, MAY 12TH (MOTHER'S DAY). We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause families. We do our best to plan around holidays, however, due to spring break, school calendar, and other major holidays (Easter, Memorial Day), we, unfortunately, cannot take that date off this Spring. Please plan accordingly to ensure every team/player gets to play.

Individual and team photos are taken during practice. ALL teams need to take a team photo together; individual photos are optional. Order information is below.
*Dates are tentative and may change or be removed from the schedule based on the # of players registered for fall. Players are able to visit another league location for photos if unable to attend the date listed for the league they are participating in. Please let the photographer know if visiting from another league location.
EQUIPMENT:
NFL FLAG Jersey, Flag Belt/Flags, and a mouth guard must be worn each week. Your jersey and flag belt, plus any additional merchandise you ordered during your registration will be shipped directly to your home. A $12.99 shipping fee will be applied during registration. Your player MUST have a mouthguard to participate. Bring your own, or conveniently purchase one ONLINE for pick up on-site at the Game Day Tent for $5.
Shorts and/or pants without pockets are to be worn during games. If a participant wears shorts/pants with pockets, the pockets need to be taped down to prohibit a player's hand or fingers from getting caught in them when pulling flags.
Players can wear any type of plastic molded cleats or sneakers. No metal cleats allowed.

COMMON QUESTIONS:
WHEN WILL MY PLAYER(S) RECEIVE THEIR EQUIPMENT?
Once we complete putting teams together, we will send the rosters to our inventory department which will begin to pack and ship out individual equipment to each player. You should expect your NFL FLAG jersey, flag belt, and any other equipment you may have purchased no later than your scheduled Meet & Greet. You must bring a mouthguard to every practice and game. They will be available at the field for $5 each week.
WHAT OTHER EQUIPMENT WILL MY PLAYER NEED THIS SEASON?

WHEN WILL I HEAR FROM MY COACH?
We are hosting our virtual coaches meeting prior to the season. You should hear from your coach the week before Meet & Greet.
WILL THERE BE ANY PRACTICES DURING THE WEEK?
We are a recreational organization on a mission to make our favorite sport accessible, inclusive, and fun for every child who wants to play. Part of this mission is only requiring a 2-hour commitment from families each week allowing them time to participate in additional activities. Therefore, hosting additional practices prior to the start of the season or during the season aside from the team's scheduled time on the designated day.
WE ALREADY REGISTERED BUT DID NOT ADD JERSEY LETTERING. CAN IT STILL BE ADDED?
Jersey lettering is available until the registration deadline. After the registration deadline, we no longer offer the option for jersey lettering to ensure delivery before the season begins. If interested in adding jersey lettering, please visit https://jerseyletteringguy.com/ and select your Season, State, and League, then enter your email address used for registration to find your player.
WE WOULD LIKE TO ADD SOME OF THE ADDITIONAL MERCHANDISE AFTER WE COMPLETED THE REGISTRATION BUT THE OPTIONS ARE NO LONGER SHOWING. CAN WE STILL PURCHASE ANY OF THOSE ITEMS?
Once the registration has been completed, the optional merchandise can not be added to the initial order, however, families are welcome to shop our NFL Flag Fan Shop any time to rep their team or grab some official NFL Flag gear!
ARE THERE PLAYOFFS?
Yes, for our Madden divisions ONLY (4th grade - 8th grade). The top 4 teams in each Madden division will participate in playoffs on the last week of the season. The top 2 teams in each Madden division will then play an additional game following for a Championship game. All other divisions (PreK - 3rd Grade) will not have playoffs but will still have a game scheduled for the last week of the season.
