Mid Winter- What To Expect Next

We are excited to have you join us and appreciate your support.

Communication is key to ensuring the success of the league. Over the course of this season, we will be sending you emails with the information you will need this season. Due to this being a mass email system, please check your filters to ensure that messages do not get lost in your junk mail folder. Included are answers to some common questions you may have. Mid-winter registration opens October 14th 2025 until December 14h, 2025.After the registration deadline, late registration is based upon availability and is not guaranteed. Once registration is full, we will build a waitlist and fill openings from the waitlist on a first-come, first-serve basis. A $10.00 increase in registration will apply and you will be placed on any team that has openings in your grade division. Buddy and Coach requests are less likely to be met during late registration.

IMPORTANT DATES FOR THE Mid-Winter 2026 SEASON:

October 14th 2025:
 
Mid- Winter season registration begins.

December 15th- 19th :
 We will be forming teams, confirming coaches, creating schedules, and more during this time.  

December 14th, 2025: Registration closes for all league locations. Today is the last day for a guaranteed spot on a team.

2 WEEKS PRIOR TO START OF SEASON: All rosters and schedules will be posted.

January 16th:
 1st week of games. Practice is held 1-hour PRIOR to the game time listed on the schedule each week. Please check your Game Schedule under the GAME DAY tab on the website and confirm it with your schedule in the MOJO app.

February 27th, (Rain Date): League make-up date in case of inclement weather or facility issues during the season will be determined by National Flag Football Management.
  


EQUIPMENT:

NFL FLAG Jersey, Flag Belt/Flags, and a mouth guard must be worn each week. Your jersey and flag belt, plus any additional merchandise you ordered during your registration will be shipped directly to your home. A $12.99 shipping fee will be applied during registration. Your player MUST have a mouthguard to participate. Bring your own, or conveniently purchase one ONLINE for pick up on-site at the Game Day Tent for $5.
 
Shorts and/or pants without pockets are to be worn during games. If a participant wears shorts/pants with pockets, the pockets need to be taped down to prohibit a player's hand or fingers from getting caught in them when pulling flags. 
 
Players can wear any type of plastic molded cleats or sneakers. No metal cleats allowed.

COMMON QUESTIONS:

WHEN WILL MY PLAYER(S) RECEIVE THEIR EQUIPMENT?
Once we complete putting teams together, we will send the rosters to our inventory department which will begin to pack and ship out individual equipment to each player. You should expect your NFL FLAG jersey, flag belt, and any other equipment you may have purchased no later than your scheduled Meet & Greet. You must bring a mouthguard to every practice and game. They will be available at the field for $5 each week. 

WHAT OTHER EQUIPMENT WILL MY PLAYER NEED THIS SEASON?
Whether you’re new to the sport or a seasoned professional, there are a few essential pieces every player needs. Use our Flag Football Equipment Checklist to be prepared for your next game.
 
WHEN WILL I HEAR FROM MY COACH? 
You will hear from your coach the week prior to the first game. 

WILL THERE BE ANY PRACTICES DURING THE WEEK?
We are a recreational organization on a mission to make our favorite sport accessible, inclusive, and fun for every child who wants to play. Part of this mission is only requiring a 2-hour commitment from families each week allowing them time to participate in additional activities. Therefore, hosting additional practices prior to the start of the season or during the season aside from the team's scheduled time on the designated day.


WE WOULD LIKE TO ADD SOME OF THE ADDITIONAL MERCHANDISE AFTER WE COMPLETED THE REGISTRATION BUT THE OPTIONS ARE NO LONGER SHOWING. CAN WE STILL PURCHASE ANY OF THOSE ITEMS?
Once the registration has been completed, the optional merchandise can not be added to the initial order, however, families are welcome to shop our NFL Flag Fan Shop any time to rep their team or grab some official NFL Flag gear!
